Maybe with friends, I’ll fill this lack
But all she received , was another attack
Will anyone love me? Do they even care?
Walking through those doors!
The snickers, the laughs,The rough grubby hands.
The friends who hurt you, Just because they can.
Learning and fun and growing you say?
How about hurt and fear and running away!
I hit the 6th grade, a sanctuary I found!!
Where laughs and love and fun DO abound!
Advice and care from a heart that’s pure..
One who loves Jesus…that much is for sure!
A place I can hide, from the chaos without…
A place where the planting of a seed comes about.
Then one day, this girl left her “home”
Only to find a world, where she’d be all alone.
Men and needles and babies ! Oh dear!
Where’s my next bottle…hand me that beer!
But a powerful seed, was already inside
A seed of the Word, did dormant lie.
Planted in her childhood, then again in her youth
By a few faithful farmers, of which, one was you..
Ethan Henry Brown such a simple plain name..
But what lies inside is proof that HE came!
That seed did grow, many years in the making
But I sit here today, grateful and shaking..
My heart FILLED with Love, Joy and Light!
I now GIVE Life, to all those in sight!
I want to say…THANK YOU! From the DEPTHS of my heart,
For helping this girl, overcome her bad start!
